AT came down with a cold this week. He is finally feeling better. However, his sister stayed home on Thurs and his nose was the following result.
They may want to rethink ignoring mom when she says "don't do that, you can fall and hurt yourself." I now have printed proof to remind them that sometimes mom is right. He actually has two scratches on either side underneath his nose now, too. The poor kids looks like he was attacked in his sleep by a cat or something.AD had cheer camp this weekend. She really did a good job. I have been worried that our children would end up with my coordination (or lack of), but she seemed to follow along really well.
AJ opted to not do cheer camp this year and instead partcipated in the KofC Freethrow contest. She ended up winning her group with 5/15 shots. I know that doesn't sound like much, but when you are the only contestant in your age/gender group, you are the winner by default. (She even readily admits this.) She shoots again Feb 28th down in the TC. I think she's going to get in the gym before then and work on those freethrows. She has her first basketball game tonight. There are only 7 girls on her team, so she is going to be tired.
As for the rest of us: T had his first jr high basketball game last week and I didn't work as much due to AT not feeling well. Less than two weeks and it is our Crafter's Getaway in the TC. Mom comes up next week and I am really looking forward to it. I can't say I have any projects lined up to work on, although I've have tons of UFOs, (unfinished objects). I hope to find time to work on something before she gets here so I have something to do at the retreat. If anyone is interested, we are still taking registrations!
